Biological Resource Center
The mission of Biological Resource Center at NIBS (BRC) is to establish, maintain and distribute repositories of mutant strains (e.g. microbes, viruses), genetically manipulated animal and human cell lines, and DNA materials (e.g. plasmids, mutant genes) developed at NIBS, to not only support the on-going basic and translational research at NIBS, but also facilitate exchange and collaborations with the scientific community.
In addition, the BRC makes available to the NIBS research community the human and mouse whole-genome siRNA/shRNA libraries, and human genome cDNA library. The center also provides low-cost, high-quality custom oligonucleotides, siRNA and gene synthesis services for use in a wide range of applications.
